In Jan 2017, Vanta was no more than an idea and barely even a thought; Glynne, with 20’ years of recruitment experience, had worked for some of the best recruiters in the UK, so with a wealth of knowledge and experience but with a hunger for wanting to do things his way set about the concept of launching a recruitment business.
Often asked where the name “Vanta” comes from, the honest answer is that it was his mother-in-law’s idea, and the name Vanta refers to a much-loved family German Shephard. On further investigation, the meaning of Vanta in Nordic has a rough translation of to have, to need, and to want. So, with a name in place, branding and image were vitally important; it needed to be bright and easily remembered. Green and Pink have a knack for standing out amongst the crowd.
Next were fundamental values; to this day, they run at the centre of everything they do — Commitment, Balance, Honesty, Development, Different, and Fun.
Vanta launched in June 2017 and they have never looked back since
Five years on, Vanta has gone from strength to strength, with the Commercial, Food Production, and Driving sectors introduced to Vanta’s growing portfolio. Vanta launched its 2nd office in High Wycombe in 2020; in 2021, Vanta purchased Got People in Watford. In 2022, Vanta purchased Jark Reading, and in 2023 this was rebranded to Vanta Reading. 2023 bought the launch of Vanta Managed Services.
