Vanta Staffing is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on behalf of a prestigious specialist food supplier based in Slough. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking consistent, long-term work with the potential to secure a permanent role.

As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll play a vital part in supporting daily operations by picking and preparing customer orders, loading and unloading goods, and ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently in the warehouse and yard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking orders accurately and efficiently

  • Packing and labelling goods ready for dispatch

  • Loading and unloading vehicles

  • Manual handling of goods (15–20kg)

  • Shunting vans around the yard (full UK driving licence required)

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence (essential)

  • Experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial

  • Ability to carry out physical work and manual handling

  • A valid FLT Reach Truck licence is advantageous but not essential

  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Salary: £13.00 per hour 

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 15:00 PM – 23:59 PM
