In Jan 2017 Vanta was no more than an idea and barley even a thought, Glynne with 20′ years recruitment experience had worked for some of the best recruiters in the UK, so with a wealth of knowledge and experience but with a hunger for wanting to do things his way set about the concept of launching a recruitment business.
Glynne is often asked where the name “Vanta” comes from, the honest answer is that it was his mother in laws idea and the name refers to a much loved family German Shepard. On further investigation the meaning of Vanta in Nordic has a rough translation of to have, to need, to want. So with a name in place branding and image was vitally important, it needed to be bright and needed to be easily remembered, Lime Green and Pink have a knack of standing out amongst the crowd.
Next was Values, all extremely important and to this day run at the centre of everything they do. Commitment, Balance, Honesty, Development, Different and Fun. 20
Vanta launched in June 2017 and they have never looked back since
5 years on and Vanta has gone from strength to strength with, Commercial, Food Production and Driving sectors all being introduced to Vanta`s growing portfolio. Vanta launched its 2nd office in High Wycombe in 2020 and in 2021 Vanta acquired Got People in Watford. Exciting things are happening with Vanta Staffing with our most recent purchase of a branch in Reading.
