Workshop Technician – Furniture
Permanent contract
£26 – £28k (£12p.h. – £13.50p.h. DOE) + benefits and co’ bonus

Vanta Staffing are the exclusive staffing partner to an international shipping company looking to bolster their fine art & antique packaging team.
Due to promotions & contract wins, we are looking for Technician’s for their busy workshop.
The successful Workshop Technician duties will include;
- Building safe & secure cases & packaging for fine art & antiques
- Work from design drawings & schematics
- Work to current standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
- Safely use all workshop equipment (bench saws & pneumatic nail guns)
- Ad-here to all workshop SOP’s and co’ health and safety procedures
- Communicate with team leaders, managers and clients to ensure streamlined production
- Quality Check all finished items pointing out errors or areas for improvement
- Hours of work, Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm

Required experience & characteristics;
- At least 1 years’ experience working in a hands on position using hand-held tools
- Strong communication and confident to point out mistakes
- Live within commutable distance to Hayes
- Reliable & conscientious
- Courteous, polite & professional
