Shift Maintenance Engineer – Manufacturing Facility of metal components
Circa £40k + Bonus + Benefits – extended holidays (33 per year) and advanced pension scheme
Monday to Friday, 2pm – 10pm

We are looking for an experienced Shift Maintenance Engineer to strengthen our engineering team and provide an extra layer of skill & expertise with either mechanical or an electrical bias.
Duties of the successful Shift Maintenance Engineer will include:
- Carry out regular checks of the complete site, equipment & manufacturing machinery maximising the building services uptime
- Provide reactive and planned maintenance on manufacturing machines (plastic injection mould)
- Support all installations and projects on the fabric of the building
- Advice on improvements
- Monitor, order & control stock
- Ensure that ALL SOP’s meet health and safety requirements
- Monday to Friday, 2pm – 10pm

Required experience & characteristics
- Proven experience as maintaining the building & machines of a manufacturing facility
- Able to read, interpret and follow engineering drawings, instructions and software.
- Electrical OR Mechanical engineering-based qualification
- Good communication capability
- Highly focused on quality, safety and managing the working environment.
- Strong command of the English Language
- Enthusiastic, polite & professional character
