Vanta Staffing High Wycombe are looking for a self-driven Quality Technician to join a busy company in High Wycombe.

Permanent

Monday – Friday

8am-4.30pm

Duties of the Quality Technician:

– Checking incoming Goods meet customer satisfaction
– Updating product records
– To provide inspection support when requested in any Goods In related matter
– To ensure that products are made to specific Quality Standards
– Support the Quality Department in customer/supplier issues
– Perform inspection of incoming goods
– Inspection reports
– Evaluate returned stock
– Process goods in the internal system
– Maintain consignment stock
– Carry out tests as required
– Check and approve product samples
– Liaise with suppliers regarding product and packaging defects
– Investigate complaints

Skills required of the Quality Technician:

– Use of basic measuring tools/ equipment (Vernier, Callipers, Micrometers)
– Computer literacy
– Drawing knowledge
– Inspection / ISO / DIN / British Standards knowledge an advantage
– Use of Lakeview System an advantage
