We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) or Quality Control (QC) professional to join our prominent, independent client based in Slough, operating within the food production sector.
Available shifts: 06:00–14:30 or 22:00–06:30
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Certifications would be advantageous including Quality Auditor,
- Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, and defect management practice.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, QA applications and databases.
- Knowledge of tools concepts and methodologies of QA.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and implement quality standards and procedures to maintain high production standards.
- Assess the effectiveness of quality and inspection systems, recommending improvements where necessary.
- Plan, conduct, and oversee testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.
- Accurately document internal audits and other quality-related activities.
- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Analyse data to identify opportunities for enhancing quality processes.
- Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventative actions to address quality concerns.
- Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly production audits to ensure compliance and quality standards.
- Conduct hygiene audits and inspections including silo sieve, magnet checks, Good Manufacturing Practise (GMP), and other relevant assessments.
- Develop and implement new production and design standards, creating testing protocols for all service lines.
- Identify and resolve workflow and production issues efficiently.
- Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions to maintain compliance.
- Oversee risk management activities and manage document control systems effectively.
