Vanta Staffing are the exclusive staffing partner to an amazing sports equipment manufacturer with a worldwide distribution network and a global footprint.
Now looking for enthusiastic people with a desire to learn and develop a career in manufacturing and CNC engineering.
The successful Machine Operative duties will include;
- Setting up and manipulating various industrially specific machines to manufacture their products (CNC, Grinding, Lathes, Printing)
- Work to current standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
- Ad-here to all workshop SOP’s and co’ health and safety procedures
- Communicate with team leaders, managers and clients to ensure streamlined production
- Update and input information into their computer systems (full training provided)
- Quality Check all finished items pointing out errors or areas for improvement
- Hours of work, Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm
This would be an ideal role for a technically minded individual who has aspirations to work in Engineering or Manufacturing specialists

Required experience & characteristics;
- At least 1 years’ experience in a technical, operational role (Assemblers, Mechanics, Engineers & Technicians are highly desirable)Methodical & practical thinker
- Strong communication and confident to point out mistakes
- Live within commutable distance to Slough Trading Estate
- Reliable & conscientious
- Courteous, polite & professional
