Class 1 Driver

Vanta Staffing Slough is recruiting a Class 1 Driver to work for our client in the Slough area. This will involve trunking work, a perfect role for drivers who want consistent work with a prestigious companies within the logistics distribution and supply chain industry.

Role of a Class 1 Driver

Minimum 18 months HGV driving (Cat C+E) recent experience.
Be able to complete two runs
Have a valid CPC and digi tacho
No more than 6 points (No DR or IN)
Must have the correct PPE – HI Vis and Safety Boots
Class 1 Driver Details:

Salary: £19ph -£22ph
Working hours: Monday to Friday (05.00 starts) / Nights (17.00 start)
Location: Slough
Duration: Ongoing work
Role of a Class 1 Driver

Complete two trunking runs a shift; trailer swapping will be involved additional drops/collections may be required.
Complete vehicle checks
Being flexible and able to complete runs safely
