Vanta Staffing Slough are currently recruiting for Chefs in and around Slough for various clients. We are looking great Chefs (Breakfast, Sous and Chef de Partie)

As the industry is starting to heat our clients in Slough are looking for a Chef who responsible for the dishes that are cooked and prepared at a restaurant or hotels. This can involve creating new recipes, or adhering to specific food preparation and standards set by the restaurant, hotel and local laws.

We are looking for a Chef (Sous, Chef de partie and breakfast chef) with experience in these fields.

The Role of a Chef working alongside all kitchen staff

  • Preparing the food for cooking (within your speciality)
  • Keeping up with industry trends and creating new recipes
  • Reviewing the menu and doing inventory
  • Following the budget set by the Restaurant or Hotel Manager
  • Ordering food for the kitchen
  • Monitoring food production and food and staff costs
  • Training staff
  • Managing relationships with distributors and resolving any issues with vendors, promptly
  • Ensuring standard portions and quality of dishes
  • Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen and ensuring sanitation practices in the kitchen

Required experience & characteristics of the successful Chef
